Punar-Jani is a travelogue of a different kind. Punar-Jani (reborn woman/daughter/wife/mother) is the traveler who is traveling in and out of the stories of three women who were killed at different times and places. Punar-Jani travels through their stories, taking their place inside their stories and tries to change the end but is of course defeated. But she comes out wiser, full with the knowledge that always get buried in the grand narratives of patriarchy.
